Earlier this month, Apple quietly unveiled a special Apple TV+ deal, offering three months of its streaming service for only $2.99 monthly. If you’ve been on the fence about Apple TV+ and haven’t already taken advantage of this pricing, this is your last chance to jump in, as it’s set to expire tomorrow.

The deal isn’t just for new Apple TV+ subscribers. You should be able to take advantage of it even if you’re a “seasonal” subscriber as long as your subscription has lapsed. Apple says it’s available to “qualified returning subscribers,” and while it doesn’t say what those qualifications are, you can check your eligibility by clicking the Accept Offer button at tv.apple.com.

Existing subscribers can’t take advantage of this discount, nor can those with an Apple One bundle, which already includes Apple TV+ at a discounted price (how much of a discount that works out to depends on how important you rank it compared to the other services in the bundle like Apple Music, Apple Arcade, and iCloud+). However, that’s also the point of Apple One: you’re more likely to stay an Apple TV+ subscriber as the other services like iCloud+ and Apple Music are more consistently useful year-round.

With every streaming service getting more expensive each year, it’s become relatively common for folks to swap streaming subscriptions throughout the year, hopping between Netflix, Disney+, Max, and others to catch up on the latest shows without paying for all of them simultaneously. If you’re in that camp, this is an excellent opportunity to add Apple TV+ to that list for three months.

The only catch is that you’ll have to remember to cancel it. Like most promotional offers, the plan will automatically continue at the full $9.99 monthly price after the discounted three months are up. Of course, Apple is happy if you want to stick around, but if you take full advantage of the promo period and binge-watch everything you can, there’s a good chance you’ll be ready to move on to something else when the full renewal price comes up. After all, you can always re-subscribe to Apple TV+ down the road when the third season of Severance shows up.

It’s unclear how long your subscription needs to have lapsed to be able to take advantage of this offer. It’s typically at least one billing cycle, so it’s unlikely you’d be able to cancel today and sign up again to get the discount.

You can also only get the offer directly from Apple. You can’t have it billed through a third party like your internet or mobile wireless provider. You also can’t claim the offer if you’re eligible for a three-month free Apple TV+ offer. You must first claim the free trial — you can’t save it for later.

Assuming you qualify, there are no restrictions on this promotional offer once you’ve signed up. You’ll get the complete package, including all the latest Apple Originals, the weekly Friday Night Baseball double-headers (with no local broadcast restrictions), and all the related MLB content. MLS Season Pass is still a separate subscription, so it’s not included in this promo, but you will be able to enjoy the MLS content Apple offers to TV+ subscribers, including Sunday Night Soccer and many Leagues Cup games.
