Best iPhone 8 Deals and Promotions Through Your Wireless Carrier

Apple’s new iPhone 8 and 8 Plus flagships are now just days away from officially hitting store shelves — and with that said, you might be among those wondering how (or where) you can score the best deal on one. Promotional offerings vary from carrier to carrier, worth noting in particular is that Apple raised the MSRP of its iPhone models by as much as $50 this year. And so, while there are still deals to be had, it appears as if this increased cost (and high-demand for the device) has prompted carriers to be a bit less generous with iPhone 8 deals than they were with the iPhone 7. Nevertheless, we’ve scoured the web in search of this year’s best iPhone 8 launch deals, press the right arrow to learn more.
4 T-Mobile
While the Un-carrier is not currently offering any specific deal on the iPhone 8, T-Mobile says it will offer customers a credit of up to $300 when they trade in their iPhone 6 or newer (has to be in good, working condition, of course). Unfortunately, this credit is applied in the form of monthly installments that will be issued over the course of 24-months. T-Mobile is also offering Apple Watch Series 3 buyers a $30 credit towards their first three-months of LTE service. The cost of LTE on Apple Watch S3 is $10/month thereafter.
3 Verizon
Verizon is essentially offering the same exact deal as T-Mobile: customers will receive up to $300 in monthly installment credits towards an iPhone 8 when they trade in any “recent model smartphone” in good, working condition. Verizon is also offering the same $30 credit for Apple Watch Series 3 buyers, with LTE service starting at $10/mo. beginning the fourth-month.
2 Sprint
Sprint had previously announced a rather unconventional deal on the iPhone 8, offering customers who decided to lease (i.e., rent, not own) the device from Sprint up to 50% off the cost of their 18-month lease agreement. Interestingly, in order to even enter the lease in the first place, customers would've had to hand over their existing iPhone or Galaxy device — and would of course have to give the iPhone 8 back after 18-months. Sprint decided to update its offer on Monday morning, however. Instead of the whole 'lease and give it back to us' program, the carrier will simply give the customer an iPhone 8 in exchange for their iPhone 7 or Galaxy S8. Older devices like the iPhone 6s or Galaxy S7 also qualify for 50% off the purchase.
1 AT&T
AT&T is offering one of the most generous iPhone 8 promotions — if you meet the carrier’s rigorous qualifications, of course. Big Blue is offering a FREE iPhone 8 or 8 Plus with the purchase of an iPhone 8 or 8 Plus, but customers will have to either subscribe to, or be an existing subscriber of an AT&T U-verse or DirecTV package.
They’ll also have to ensure that the free iPhone is associated with a new line (sadly, upgrades don’t qualify). Alternatively, the carrier is offering customers who want just one iPhone 8, a 32 GB iPad to go along with it for just $100 (a $350 savings). AT&T is also offering Apple Watch Series 3 buyers a $25 credit to cover the activation fee, along with an additional $30 to cover the first three-months of LTE service on the wearable.
