5 7 Nanometer A12 Bionic CPU

iPhone XS, XS Max and the upcoming iPhone XR have all been outfitted with Apple’s most powerful and technologically advanced A-series CPU — the A12 Bionic — which Apple said at its event was the industry’s first mobile CPU built on a 7 nanometer process and is demolishing the competition.
The chip itself is based on a hexa-core (6-core) architecture which Apple claims is not only 15 percent faster, but also up to 50 percent more power-efficient that its previous-generation A11 Bionic.
Additionally, the A12 boasts an integrated quad-core GPU, Apple’s second-generation Neural engine for processing more advanced AR tasks, faster Face ID, and an improved image signal processor (ISP) which allows for some remarkable new camera features.
