Apple Messages Is Better Than Ever

One app that will get many powerful new features is Messages. The Apple Messages app now comes with features to schedule your texts and make them stand out, no matter where you are in the world.

For starters, you can finally schedule your text messages. Set the day and time, and your iPhone will send the message for you. Of course, you’ll still have time to edit the message or the schedule or to choose to send it right away.

Tapbacks are getting an improvement, too. Right now, you can only send a handful of tapbacks to react to a message. However, iOS 18 will let you use any emoji and sticker you have in your library. Plus, the older tapback reactions are more colorful and lively than before.

But if that’s not enough for you, there are text effects you can use to make your messages stand out. For instance, you can make parts of your messages larger or smaller or make them explode.

Last but not least, you’ll be able to send a text message or use iMessage via satellite. You won’t have to wait to have a good signal to tell your friends and family that you’ve arrived at your destination or that you need help.
