Small Changes to Your Lock Screen

The iPhone’s Lock Screen also received a small but significant update. You can now change the shortcuts at the bottom of the Lock Screen. Before iOS 18, you could only have your flashlight and Camera app icons, and there was no way to customize them.

Now, if you have the developer beta, you can change these buttons to pretty much anything. You can even add a shortcut for an app or game, and you’ll be able to assign third-party camera apps here and open them quickly from the Lock Screen — once the developers update them for iOS 18.
