The World Economic Forum is taking place this week in Davos, Switzerland, where Apple CEO Tim Cook made promising headway with Czech Prime Minister Andrej Babiš.

The pair discussed artificial intelligence, the health of the Czech Republic’s economy and plans for a new retail store. Photos of Cook and BabiÅ¡ with captions were shared to Facebook (via Letem svÄ›tem Applem), which detail the ideas and plans the two deliberated on.

“I just met one of the most influential personalities of the world business, Tim Cook, boss of Apple… We have dealt with the economic situation of our country, but also the entire European Union. Tim Cook appreciated the results of our economy. I also introduced him to our new vision, which you already know. Czech Republic: the country for the future 🇨🇿 Tim Cook was absolutely thrilled that we have more than 500 scientists in the area of artificial intelligence in the Czech Republic,” said BabiÅ¡.

“I also offered Apple to build an Apple store in Prague. It’s only in ten European countries, one is right in the Paris Louvre. With us, it would be great for a building of Ministerstvo pro místní rozvoj on anti. Tim cook reacted immediately and right on site arose a coordination team for preparing the new Apple store in Prague 👍🏻”

BabiÅ¡ claims Cook was thrilled that the Czech Republic is home to more than 500 scientists working in the field of artificial intelligence, a field that Apple’s investing in heavily. The company is widely known to be making vast improvements to Siri and even developing an advanced self-driving Apple Car.

More concretely, BabiÅ¡ notes that Tim Cook has accepted his offer to erect Europe’s 11th Apple Store in Prague and is already coordinating a team to build it. It isn’t clear exactly where Apple’s upcoming retail store will be located, however the Prime Minister recommended that the company set up shop inside the Ministry of Regional Development building in the Old Town Square.
