In a recent move, Apple released the third installment of iOS 9.3 to developers on Tuesday of this week. Beta 3 comes only two weeks after the release of beta 2, and with this new version comes a teaser as to what we can expect from iOS 9.3.

This latest installment of Apple’s iOS upgrades brings a number of notable features and upgrades to your Apple iPhone experience, including new features in the News, Notes, and Health apps. iOS 9.3 also brings the new Night-Shift Mode feature, an innovative way to help your eyes adjust to Apple’s display as day turns to night.

Some of the bigger changes coming along with iOS 9.3 are for educational use. For instance, iOS 9.3 will bring Shared iPad functionality for multi-user log-ins on one device, a Classroom app to keep students on the same page, and a new way to use AirPlay: to display a student’s work on an Apple TV-synced television.

One of the newest features that users are excited about is Wi-Fi calling for Verizon subscribers. Wi-Fi calling was introduced to iOS 8, and has gradually been expanded to include more carriers with each iOS update. T-Mobile, Sprint, and AT&T were already on that list, so it only makes sense that Verizon now makes the cut, too.

Most of these new features and functionality already existed with iOS 9.3 beta 1, but beta 3 shows how Apple is honing in and tweaking these features to be perfect for the new iOS release.

The debut of iOS 9.3 beta 3 also came alongside the likes of watchOS 2.2 beta 3 and tvOS 9.2 beta 3, both of which bring new features to the table. With watchOS 2.2, users can finally pair multiple Apple Watches to a single iPhone, and tvOS 9.2 now allows support for Bluetooth keyboards.

Apple releases beta versions of its OS software in order to get feedback from its consumers, whether it be security flaws, bugs, or other fixes.
