Apple released the second beta of iOS 8.3 to developers today, only two weeks after they released the first beta version. This release lies just ahead of the third 8.3 beta, expected to release to developers and 100,000 public users in mid-March.

iOS 8.3 will introduce wireless CarPlay connectivity for compatible automobiles, an updated emoji library, an improved login process for Google apps, and Apple Pay support in China. While there are a few bug fixes, the second beta introduces emojis with a diverse range of skin tones, and support for several new languages for Siri, including Danish, Dutch, Portuguese, Russian, Swedish, Thai, and Turkish. The release notes also state that the beta includes a fix for the dialog that appears when a phone is connected to a CarPlay-enabled car. It should be noted that according to release notes, this beta release is not compatible with Verizon LTE Voice.

There is no official release date for iOS 8.3, just yet. As stated earlier, a third beta and a public beta are expected to release mid-March. The official release of iOS 8.2, which is currently on its fifth beta release, is also expected to hit mobile devices in March.
